This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• Develop and oversee all facets of relationships with Emisar, Optum Rx, and United Healthcare.
• Represent Jazz’s product lineup and ensure appropriate market access within Commercial and Medicare business segments.
• Implement market access strategies for Jazz products in targeted accounts.
• Cultivate relationships with pharmacy directors, medical directors, clinical decision-makers, and other key stakeholders.
• Influence coverage policies, guidelines, contracts, access, and reimbursement decisions.
• Create, maintain, and execute stakeholder engagement plans and strategic account plans.
• Represent Jazz and its offerings at industry events and conferences.
• Develop live engagement opportunities to communicate payer value propositions and business updates.
• Collaborate with Regional Account Directors, field sales colleagues, and internal stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Legal, Access Services, and PVO/HEOR.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews regarding the market access landscape and opportunities.
• Optimize reimbursement support services while maintaining account access and reimbursement information.
• Identify and leverage stakeholder value opportunities.
• Anticipate challenges and devise mitigation strategies with relevant stakeholders.
• Educate external stakeholders about Jazz products, related diseases, and product value.
• Present strategic account plans during regular senior-management business reviews.
• Mobilize resources and secure senior-management support for opportunities and threats.
• Act as a subject matter expert for targeted accounts, informing market access and brand strategy decisions.
• Negotiate discount agreements in accordance with company guidelines, policies, laws, and regulations.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in the pharma/biopharmaceutical industry.
• At least 4 years of demonstrated success as an Account Manager engaging with national commercial, government, and/or Medicaid payers.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in direct management or team leadership, whether in the field or at headquarters.
• Proven ability to develop relationships with key individuals within targeted accounts.
• Demonstrated capability to lead cross-organizational projects and teams, both with and without direct management authority.
• Comprehensive understanding of healthcare, payers, formulary/PDL development, coverage and reimbursement issues, and compliance laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in Jazz core competencies, which include business acumen, communication, critical thinking/decision-making, results orientation, influence and impact, interpersonal skills/self-awareness, planning and organization, and self-management/development.
• Proven integrity, passion, collaboration, innovation, and commitment to excellence.
• Ability to operate in full compliance with company policies and relevant laws and regulations.
