This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Lead direct sales initiatives within SLED accounts in your designated territory.
• Develop and execute territory strategies to facilitate the deployment of Fortinet solutions to a specified set of existing accounts and new logo prospects in your assigned area.
• Cultivate executive relationships with key decision-makers and influencers, utilizing these connections to meet quarterly sales objectives.
• Collaborate with internal teams to produce successful contract bids, proposals, RFI/RFP responses, and Statements of Work.
• Negotiate business terms with clients to foster mutually advantageous outcomes and establish long-term partnerships.
• Enhance and promote the Company’s reputation as the global leader in Unified Threat Management.
• Experienced Tech Sales professional with knowledge of selling to SLED accounts in the New England region, particularly within Higher Education.
• Prior experience in creating business plans and market strategies aimed at boosting sales.
• Background in selling network and/or security solutions.
• Proven history of achieving or surpassing sales targets.
• Strong presentation abilities tailored for diverse audiences.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Capability to advance deals through the sales cycle.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven mindset.
• Candidates who thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
• Previous experience in network security and familiarity with technologies such as VPN, Firewall, Anti-Virus, Anti-Spam, Intrusion Prevention, and Content Filtering.
