This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Develop and oversee a pipeline of new business opportunities within JConnelly's primary practice areas.
• Convert incoming leads while also engaging in proactive outreach, balancing efforts on both fronts.
• Collaborate closely with leadership to create proposals and define the scope of engagements.
• Identify and cultivate referral partnerships with complementary service providers.
• Represent JConnelly at industry events and effectively manage the pipeline using HubSpot.
• 7+ years of experience in public relations or communications, with significant business development expertise.
• A proven track record as a closer, with personal examples of self-sourced successes — be ready to discuss specific business wins.
• Experience in building and managing a business development process, rather than merely participating in one.
