This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Oversee and drive direct sales efforts within a designated group of Named Accounts in your assigned territory.
• Develop and execute territory strategies aimed at achieving deployments of Fortinet products and services to a combination of existing accounts and new logo prospects in your assigned area.
• Build executive relationships with key decision-makers and influencers, utilizing these connections to meet quarterly sales targets.
• Create a robust sales pipeline, evaluate opportunities, and provide accurate forecasts of pipeline status.
• Collaborate with relevant internal teams to produce and present successful Contract Bids, Proposals, and Statements of Work.
• Negotiate business terms with clients to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes that foster strong, ongoing relationships.
• Comprehend customer business objectives and effectively communicate how Fortinet's capabilities can help achieve these goals.
• Fully qualified and experienced sales professional with a forward-thinking mindset and a solid grasp of the technology business sector.
• A minimum of 5+ years of prior sales experience is essential.
• Previous experience in crafting business plans and market strategies to boost sales is required.
• Demonstrated ability to sell solutions effectively.
• A solid track record of meeting quotas and evidence of career stability is necessary.
• Exceptional presentation skills suitable for both executives and individual contributors.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• A self-driven, independent thinker capable of advancing deals through the sales cycle.
• Results-oriented with a self-starter, hunter-type mentality.
• The candidate must excel in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
• The Named Account Manager, Enterprise is expected to spend more than 50% of their time outside of their office or home office engaged in sales activities, including necessary travel to secure sales.
