This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Lead direct sales initiatives within SLED accounts in your designated territory.
• Develop and execute territory strategies to facilitate the deployment of Fortinet solutions to a defined set of existing accounts and new logo opportunities within your territory.
• Establish executive relationships with key decision-makers and influencers, utilizing these connections to achieve quarterly sales objectives.
• Collaborate with internal teams to produce successful contract bids, proposals, RFI/RFP responses, and Statements of Work.
• Negotiate business terms with clients to secure mutually beneficial outcomes and foster long-term partnerships.
• Enhance and promote the Company’s reputation as the global leader in Unified Threat Management.
• Seasoned Tech Sales professional with expertise in selling to SLED accounts (state, local government, K-12, and higher education).
• Prior experience in developing business plans and market strategies aimed at boosting sales.
• Background in selling network and/or security solutions.
• Proven history of meeting or surpassing sales targets.
• Exceptional presentation skills tailored to varied audiences.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capacity to advance deals through the sales cycle.
• Motivated, proactive, and results-driven mindset.
• Candidates who thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
• Prior experience in network security and familiarity with technologies such as VPN, Firewall, Anti-Virus, Anti-Spam, Intrusion Prevention, and Content Filtering.
