This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Develop, execute, and oversee the account strategy aimed at enhancing growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate sales initiatives and address specific customer issues effectively.
• Design sales strategies and account plans that align customer business objectives with NextEra/FPL goals.
• Establish and drive the attainment of sales objectives, manage volume, mix, and profitability, and implement recovery plans as necessary.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers, lead negotiations, resolve claims, and collaborate with Inside Sales and District Sales to improve satisfaction and operational efficiency.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of customer motivations, competitive activities, and market trends to guide strategy, create value, and coordinate internal resources for customized solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is preferred.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in Engineering, Project Management, Sales, and/or Marketing.
• Experience in Sales/Business Development with clients in the utilities and/or energy sectors.
• Understanding of the customer and company organizational structures.
• Strong business acumen to assess when escalation is necessary.
• Ability to foresee obstacles and notify internal and external stakeholders as needed.
• Promote teamwork that encourages collaboration and unity.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% (domestic travel).
• Strong skills in building customer relationships.
• Outstanding analytical skills and leadership capabilities.
