This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Coordination and support of building certification projects (e.g. DGNB, BNK) for sustainable construction, from planning to implementation

• Advising clients on resource-efficient construction and sustainable building operations, with a focus on energy efficiency and material cycles

• Identifying optimization potential in construction projects to enhance sustainability and minimize resource consumption

• Preparation of life cycle assessments and ecological balances (LCA)

• Ensuring compliance with legal requirements and certification standards in the field of sustainable construction

• Assisting clients with applications for funding from BEG programs

• Working from home in the DACH region after onboarding, with regular fieldwork on construction sites

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed degree in civil engineering/environmental engineering, or alternatively, a technician or master in construction

• Professional experience in the field of building physics

• Proficient use of common accounting software

• Ideally listed as an energy efficiency expert in both residential and non-residential building categories

• Initial experience with common sustainability certifications as a sustainability auditor in the construction industry

• Proficient in MS Office applications

• Responsible, independent, and solution-oriented work style

• Excellent German language skills, both spoken and written (C2 or native speaker)

• Confident demeanor and enjoyment in client consulting

• Ability to convey complex topics clearly in individual consultations or specialist presentations
