MS Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Technical Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the delivery of technical projects, which includes conducting technical analysis, reviewing code design, and optimizing code performance—playing a crucial role in successful Dynamics implementations.

• Strategize, manage, and execute technical project deliverables related to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance, Supply Chain, and Power Platform.

• Maintain direct communication with stakeholders to provide updates on technical deliverables and inform them of upcoming deadlines.

• Work collaboratively with project managers and business analysts to grasp client requirements and convert them into technical specifications and project plans.

• Serve as a subject matter expert on Microsoft Dynamics 365 architecture while mentoring a developing team of Dynamics consultants.

• Set and uphold best practices for Enterprise architecture across technical and functional domains as well as Microsoft Products.

• Create and maintain technical documentation and project artifacts.

• Collaborate with Microsoft FastTrack and Engineering teams to acquire in-depth product insights and conduct customer solution design reviews.

• Act as a liaison between consulting leadership and technical team members within the organization.

• Engage in pre-sales activities, which include solution design, scoping, and proposal development.

• Manage the technical team as both a peer and mentor.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, or a related field.

• Proven ability to develop and sustain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

• Exceptional communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Over 8 years of experience in technical architecture and the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions.

• Strong comprehension of Dynamics 365 platform capabilities and limitations, as well as related technologies such as Azure and Power Platform.

• Experience in multiple Dynamics 365 ERP projects is essential.

• Proven track record as a Lead Developer in comprehensive customer implementations.

• Expertise in Microsoft Dynamics AX/365 F&SC in the following technical areas:

• At least 12 years of X++ development experience.

• Familiarity with Data Management Framework (also known as DIXF).

• Proficiency in PowerApps, LogicApps, Azure Portal/Services, SharePoint, C#, SQL Server, Common Data Service, and other Azure Services such as Azure Functions and Azure Event Grid.

• Understanding of both Synchronous and Asynchronous integration patterns.

• Knowledge of F&SC Business Events and Service Bus.

• Experience with role-based security design and customization.

• Familiarity with Extensible Data Security.

• Competence in SSRS report development and Power BI.

• Experience with code builds and deployments via Azure DevOps Pipelines and Lifecycle Services (LCS).

• Familiarity with both TFS and Git repositories.

• Experience with Unified Development Environments.

• Understanding of Azure Licensing and Costing is a plus.

• Experience in two or more Microsoft Dynamics functional areas, preferably: Finance, Trade & Logistics, Warehouse Management, Sales, Marketing, Service, Production, Manufacturing, and other modules.

• Ability to organize, prioritize, estimate, and deliver tasks while meeting deadlines.

• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

• Experience working in a multicultural and/or multilingual team across various time zones.

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 certification(s) are preferred.

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform.
