This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho.
• Promote maintenance services, modifications, upgrades, and required equipment installations to Business Jet aircraft operators.
• Work in conjunction with Avionics & Interior Sales to pinpoint and leverage cross-selling opportunities while ensuring effective communication with Western Aircraft customers.
• Identify potential clients in key marketing regions, utilizing Salesforce.com, Jetnet, market data, and team insights.
• Guide customers in selecting the most suitable maintenance solutions tailored to their aircraft profile and individual preferences.
• Conduct thorough research and provide accurate quotes for parts, labor, and external services for maintenance projects within Western’s target product range and airframes.
• Negotiate terms and pricing with customers to optimize revenue and contribution margins, all while remaining competitive in the market.
• Collaborate proactively with Engineering to ensure quotes are precise and that capabilities are in place to manage the projects effectively.
• Uphold a high standard of customer service by promptly addressing inquiries, quote requests, and post-sale follow-ups.
• Actively engage in trade shows and follow up with business contacts and prospects after the event.
• Summarize quarterly outcomes based on agreed-upon metrics for discussion with the direct manager.
• Organize sales trips to connect with prospects, establishing specific objectives for each trip, often in collaboration with Avionics and/or Interior Sales.
• Participate in scheduling and sales meetings; offer suggestions for process improvements to create opportunities and resolve challenges.
• Engage positively with partner vendors to gain insights into product details, value propositions, and opportunities to sell maintenance products.
• Conduct market analysis on targeted airframe sectors and assist in formulating sales strategies.
• Execute additional tasks as assigned.
• At least five (5) years of experience in aviation services sales or management is preferred.
• A background in maintenance, repair, and/or overhaul with a focus on corporate aircraft is preferred.
• Must have a solid understanding of business aviation maintenance, manufacturers, and the marketplace.
• Proficiency in CRM software, such as SalesForce.com, or the ability to learn it thoroughly.
• Strong skills in MS Office, including the ability to create spreadsheets, quotes, databases, and reports in Excel & Word.
• Experience using Corridor for building and editing quotes.
• Familiarity with interpreting Maintenance Manuals, Service Bulletins, and other technical directives.
• Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related aviation field is strongly preferred, or four years of equivalent experience in the general aviation industry.
• Preferred technical aviation experience or A&P certification.
