This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Identify and cultivate new business prospects across Washington and neighboring areas.
• Develop and sustain strategic target account lists aimed at contractors and industrial facilities.
• Execute outbound prospecting through various channels including phone calls, emails, LinkedIn, networking, and face-to-face visits.
• Organize and participate in customer meetings to present the company's capabilities.
• Provide assistance with conference attendance, trade shows, lunch-and-learns, and networking events.
• Foster existing client relationships by maintaining consistent communication and uncovering additional opportunities.
• Engage in project site walks, field investigations, and customer meetings.
• Support senior sales personnel with proposals, follow-ups, and project coordination.
• Facilitate the transition of awarded projects from sales to operations while preserving strong customer relations.
• Acquire knowledge of water treatment, stormwater compliance, and groundwater treatment fundamentals.
• Gain insight into treatment equipment, chemical treatment, filtration systems, rentals, and permanent installations.
• Effectively communicate technical solutions to customers with varying degrees of expertise.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to devise practical customer solutions.
• 2-5 years of experience in technical sales, field operations, or support roles.
• Proficiency in CRM software (Zoho, Salesforce, or similar preferred).
• Comfortable using the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Environmental Science, Engineering, Construction Management, Chemistry, Biology, Geology, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience dealing with contractors, municipalities, consultants, or industrial clients (preferred).
• Prior experience in water treatment, environmental consulting, construction, utilities, or industrial equipment (preferred).
