Motions Design Lead

📋 Description

• Oversee the design and animation of motion graphics for UK marketing initiatives, product explainers, social media content, and digital advertising.

• Ideate and create storyboards, frames, and animation sequences that align with UK brand goals.

• Ensure visual coherence and technical excellence across all motion outputs.

• Enhance design quality through innovation, art direction, and narrative development.

• Collaborate closely with UK Creative, Marketing, and Product teams to transform objectives into motion-based content.

• Mentor junior motion designers and guide the creative execution of UK projects.

• Collaborate with video editors, videographers, and graphic designers to create cohesive multimedia content.

• Clearly and persuasively present design concepts to stakeholders.

• Supervise motion production from concept through to delivery, ensuring efficiency and technical quality.

• Create reusable templates and motion design systems to enhance production efficiency.

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing creative innovation with deadlines.

• Resolve animation, rendering, or visual effects issues to uphold quality standards.

• Stay updated on UK and global motion design trends, animation techniques, and creative tools.

• Experiment with advanced VFX, 3D animation, and new digital formats.

• Consistently push creative limits to establish new standards for BJAK’s UK brand.

⛳️ Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Motion Graphics, Animation, Multimedia Design, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of professional experience in motion design, animation, or creative production.

• Expert-level proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and other motion design software (Cinema 4D, Blender is a plus).

• Strong storytelling ability, along with a keen sense of timing and visual composition.

• Demonstrated capability to lead creative direction and guide teams towards impactful visual results.

• Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.

• Portfolio or showreel showcasing advanced motion design and animation work.
