This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +14 more states.
β’ Deliver system, operational, and procedural support for mortgage staff across mortgage applications and business processes.
β’ Analyze and resolve intricate user issues.
β’ Oversee incident management activities.
β’ Conduct controlled system and data upkeep.
β’ Act as a bridge between business partners, technology teams, and external vendors.
β’ Evaluate operational trends.
β’ Create and sustain policies and procedures where necessary.
β’ Suggest enhancements to processes.
β’ Communicate modifications affecting the mortgage business line.
β’ Offer subject matter expertise on mortgage systems, business processes, and application integrations.
β’ Promote operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and a positive end-user experience.
β’ A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
β’ Typically two or more years of experience in mortgage or a related field.
β’ Comprehensive knowledge of mortgage originations, fulfillment, and associated operational workflows.
β’ Strong understanding of mortgage applications and supporting technologies, including loan origination systems, imaging systems, customer-facing portals, workflow tools, and case management platforms.
β’ Experience in investigating operational issues, managing incidents, identifying root causes, and coordinating resolutions across business, technology, and vendor partners.
β’ Capability to analyze business processes and recommend improvements in procedures, training, and systems.
β’ Experience in developing, interpreting, and communicating policies, procedures, job aids, and operational guidance.
β’ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with the capacity to assess risk and determine suitable solutions.
β’ Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
β’ Customer service and relationship management skills.
β’ Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including the ability to translate technical information into business-friendly language.
β’ Experience with case management, incident management, and ticketing systems.
β’ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, and related collaboration tools.
β’ Ability to collaborate with cross-functional business partners, technology teams, and external vendors.
β’ Compliance with U.S. Bank policies and procedures, including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and workplace conduct and safety policies.
