Mortgage Sales Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Responsible for overseeing the loan production of a designated team comprising four to six Mortgage Loan Officers.

• Manages sales and business development initiatives for the sub-market under the guidance of the Regional Mortgage Sales Manager.

• Recruits Mortgage Loan Officers for the assigned territory.

• Collaborates with the Regional Mortgage Sales Manager to drive revenue growth, ensure expense compliance, and enhance operational efficiencies.

• Tasked with selling and originating residential mortgage loans to meet established sales targets.

• Provides leadership in people management by attracting top talent, setting objectives, and fostering staff development.

• Proactively recruits Mortgage Loan Officers within their respective markets.

• Ensures that loan applications are accurately completed and include all necessary information and documentation.

• Generates referrals for mortgage sales opportunities and promotes other Company business line products.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience is required.

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in mortgage origination is necessary.

• At least 3 years of management experience is required.

• In-depth knowledge of the mortgage industry and its guidelines.

• Strong sales skills are essential.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.

• Proven motivational skills are necessary.
