This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide an outstanding borrower experience by guiding them through the mortgage loan process from initial prequalification to closing.
• Conduct income and financial analysis.
• Prepare and distribute necessary loan disclosures.
• Review documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Coordinate the prompt submission of loan files for processing.
• Manage a pipeline of loans, tracking milestones and outstanding conditions.
• Act as a primary point of contact for borrowers and business partners throughout the loan process.
• Assist with borrower prequalification and gather initial loan documentation.
• Calculate and analyze borrower income to assess loan eligibility.
• Utilize Desktop Underwriter (DU) and evaluate findings for precision and thoroughness.
• Organize and manage communications with borrowers, real estate agents, referral partners, and other stakeholders on behalf of the Branch Manager.
• Support the loan process from contract to closing, ensuring that established milestones are achieved.
• Scrutinize mortgage loan applications, disclosures, and supporting documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
• Generate and distribute disclosure, re-disclosure, appraisal, and property valuation packages.
• Liaise with borrowers and other stakeholders to obtain, clarify, and follow up on necessary information and documentation.
• Monitor and oversee the loan pipeline by tracking outstanding conditions, documentation, and loan milestones to facilitate timely processing and closing.
• Identify any missing or deficient loan file documentation and communicate findings to the Loan Officer and/or Loan Processor for resolution.
• Collaborate with borrowers, title companies, processors, underwriters, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth loan closings.
• Maintain precise loan records and ensure adherence to CCM policies and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Provide administrative, operational, clerical, and customer service assistance to Branch Managers and lending staff as required.
• Work closely with management and team members to support various phases of the mortgage origination and processing workflow.
• Assist in managing a pipeline that may encompass conventional, non-QM, FHA, VA, USDA, renovation, and reverse mortgage loan products.
• High School Diploma, General Equivalency Diploma (GED), or equivalent qualification.
• Over 3 years of experience in residential mortgage processing.
• Underwriting experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation tools is preferred.
• Willingness to pursue mortgage industry licensing as career responsibilities evolve.
• Knowledge of mortgage industry systems and software, including Desktop Underwriter (DU) and Loan Product Advisor (LPA).
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
• Strong prioritization and time management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
