This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Promptly respond to loan scenario inquiries from Loan Officers to assist in structuring competitive and accurate deals.
• Recognize frequently asked questions and feedback from sales to propose enhancements or training for programs.
• Evaluate loan activity to pinpoint opportunities for retail retention or conversion to in-house programs.
• Offer direct, scenario-specific advice on eligibility, pricing, and loan structure to expedite decision-making processes.
• Keep an active pipeline of opportunities and track account activity to boost retail volume and market share.
• Create and deliver training sessions (both onsite and virtual) tailored to the product mix and experience levels of each market.
• Provide education to Loan Officers and branch staff regarding Conventional, Government, Jumbo, and Non-QM products.
• Work in partnership with marketing and branch leaders to coordinate product training, promotional events, and sessions that enhance engagement.
• Collect feedback from the field regarding competitive intelligence, trends, pricing challenges, and borrower needs; identify gaps and communicate actionable insights to Product Strategy.
• Suggest product or guideline improvements to drive additional retail volume.
• Foster and manage relationships with internal sales teams to enhance origination volume.
• Conduct regular outreach to ensure satisfaction and retention among retail branches and referral partners.
• Clearly articulate Guild’s value proposition, emphasizing the benefits of maintaining business in-house.
• A Bachelor's Degree relevant to the position or equivalent experience is required.
• At least ten years of experience in a comparable role, including mortgage origination, underwriting, or product management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities in loan structuring and credit analysis.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Conventional, Government, Jumbo, and Non-QM products.
• Demonstrated skills in presentation and training, both virtually and in-person.
• Proficient in the regular use of CRM tools, LOS systems, and pipeline reporting.
