This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Calculate advance amounts for the Knock Bridge Loan utilizing internal methodologies and guidelines.
• Precisely condition loan files based on the application submitted and the associated documentation.
• Maintain consistent internal communication regarding the status of loans and updates on approvals.
• Communicate professionally and effectively with external Lending Partners, Agents, and Borrowers.
• Review title reports and homeowners/flood insurance to verify Knock’s lien position and security interest.
• Efficiently manage and process a daily pipeline of loans while adhering to company turnaround times.
• Stay informed and current with all company policies, procedures, industry regulations, and other changes affecting Knock and the wider industry.
• Commit to continuous learning and growth while assisting in the development of others; act as a mentor and resource both within your team and beyond.
• Undertake ad-hoc projects as they arise and proactively support the team wherever assistance is needed.
• Proven experience as a Senior Mortgage Loan Processor or Junior Underwriter, with a strong grasp of underwriting processes and lending systems.
• Excellent analytical thinking and decision-making abilities, with a knack for interpreting and applying lending guidelines effectively.
• Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; a natural over-communicator.
• Demonstrated efficiency and success in handling multiple tasks at the same time.
• Quick learner with an inherent ability to adopt new technologies and rapidly enhance personal skills through self-learning, research, and asking insightful questions.
• A passion for real estate innovation and a desire to make a significant impact in people’s lives.
• Ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-evolving growth environment and confidently share new ideas.
• Strong understanding of various loan products, credit reports, and debt-to-income ratios.
• Proven success working entirely remotely and collaborating with a geographically distributed national team.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of relevant industry experience.
