Mortgage Operations Lead – AU

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Assessing lending situations

• Cultivating relationships with lenders

• Steering applications through the pipeline

• Ensuring that no opportunities or client matters lose momentum

• Taking full responsibility for the mortgage process from inquiry to settlement

• Organizing and prioritizing active deals throughout the pipeline

• Proactively following up with:

• Clients

• Brokers

• Lenders

• Banks

• Internal support team

• Maintaining oversight of multiple active files concurrently

• Daily monitoring of pipeline stages and deal progression

• Establishing strong relationships with lenders and ensuring consistent follow-through

• Training, mentoring, and supervising the administrative support staff

• Assisting in the enhancement of SOPs, workflows, and operational consistency

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in:

• Mortgage broking

• Credit analysis

• Lending operations

• Loan processing

• Mortgage settlements

• In-depth knowledge of:

• The Australian lending landscape

• Credit assessment

• Serviceability calculations

• Lender policies

• Complex lending scenarios

• Proven experience managing:

• Complex deals

• Self-employed borrowers

• Non-standard lending situations

• Time-sensitive applications

• Strong expertise in managing the complete mortgage lifecycle

• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple deals concurrently

• Experience in direct communication with lenders and financial institutions

• Excellent organizational and pipeline management skills

• High attention to detail and operational precision

• Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English

• Comfortable using:

• Infynity CRM

• Loan aggregators such as Finsure

• Trello

• Microsoft Teams

• WhatsApp

• Loan processing and document management systems

• AI and productivity tools
