Mortgage Loan Processor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate loan applications for precision and completeness

• Gather, validate, and analyze necessary documentation (income, assets, credit, title, appraisal, etc.)

• Present comprehensive loan files to underwriting within set timeframes

• Ensure all prerequisites are satisfied before closing

• Serve as the primary liaison for Loan Officers, borrowers, and third-party vendors throughout the processing phase

• Provide clear and timely updates on the status of loans to all involved parties

• Collaborate with underwriters, closers, and other team members to swiftly resolve issues

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and investor regulations, along with company policies

• Maintain precise records in the loan origination system (LOS)

• Identify and elevate potential risks or concerns during the loan review process

• Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients

• Assist borrowers with document requirements and respond to questions related to processing

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a mortgage loan processor or in a comparable position

• Strong knowledge of mortgage products, underwriting standards, and compliance regulations

• Excellent communication and interpersonal capabilities

• Detail-oriented with robust problem-solving and organizational skills

• Proficient with mortgage processing systems and Microsoft Office Suite

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred (not mandatory)
