Mortgage Loan Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hawaii.

📋 Description

• Initiate and oversee mortgage loan purchases from the application stage to final closing.

• Transform company-generated leads into funded loans through diligent follow-up.

• Cultivate robust relationships with clients and agents.

• Handle an active loan pipeline while adhering to service level agreements and performance metrics.

• Utilize technology to maintain pipeline health and enhance customer interaction.

• Collaborate with processing, underwriting, and closing teams to facilitate efficient loan processing.

• Provide a consistently high-quality experience through effective communication.

• Keep abreast of market developments and regulatory standards.

• Maintain active licensing and engage in ongoing professional development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in mortgage origination.

• Strong focus on purchase transactions.

• Active NMLS Loan Originator license or Loan Originator under a federal bank license.

• Completion of the 20-hour CORE Pre-Licensing Education course.

• Successful completion of the SAFE Mortgage Loan Originator Test.

• Demonstrated success in originating purchase loans in a high-volume or agent-focused referral environment.

• Strong customer service orientation combined with consultative sales abilities.

• Exceptional verbal communication skills.

• Proficient in CRM, LOS, and Microsoft Office products.

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
