Mortgage Closer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Guarantees that mortgage loans are finalized in an efficient and timely manner.

• Evaluates and interprets federal and state regulations, credit union policies, and secondary market guidelines for all real estate loans, including both conforming and non-conforming types.

• Manages mortgage pipelines and queues to ensure that closings are completed accurately and on schedule, while keeping the supervisor informed of any issues.

• Conducts thorough reviews and analyses of appraisals, credit reports, title reports, insurance documents, income documentation, tax return assessments, asset documentation, and commitment letter conditions with minimal supervision.

• Must adhere to and fulfill all requirements related to the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act (SAFE Act, 12 CFR 365).

• GED (Required)

• High School diploma (Required)

• 0-2 years of experience in secondary market, first mortgage processing, and/or closing (Required)

• Any equivalent combination of education and experience (Required)
