This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +1 more state.
• Achieve or surpass designated sales targets through external sales efforts and related functions.
• Cultivate, enhance, and oversee new and existing connections with Centers of Influence, clients, and prospects.
• Engage with clients and prospects to comprehend their home lending and business objectives.
• Identify and advocate for U.S. Bancorp products and services to fulfill customer and bank requirements.
• Establish and sustain profitable lending and deposit connections.
• Meet clients and prospects at their business locations to assess home lending needs and financial aspirations.
• Expand a lucrative loan portfolio by fostering relationships and generating leads.
• Strengthen client and COI relationships by introducing additional products and services.
• Direct clients to other U.S. Bancorp divisions and assist team members.
• Represent the bank at community and civic events.
• Collaborate with Consumer Direct MLO and bank partners on sales strategies, joint sales visits, leads, and referrals.
• Create and oversee tailored sales and marketing strategies.
• Ensure adherence to the U.S. Bank Code of Ethics, Anti-Money Laundering regulations, Bank Secrecy Act, information security, and suspicious activity protocols.
• Follow account opening procedures and understand customers' typical account usage.
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Background in mortgage lending, relationship banking, or a similar sales position.
• Proven success in external sales, business development, and relationship management.
• Experience in establishing and managing relationships with clients and Centers of Influence (COIs).
• Strong consultative selling abilities with the capability to evaluate client needs and suggest financial solutions.
• Demonstrated history of achieving or exceeding sales objectives and building a profitable pipeline.
• In-depth knowledge of mortgage products, home lending processes, and market dynamics.
• Must reside in the Tucson, AZ or Raleigh-Durham, NC specific markets.
• NMLS registration is required under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z.
• Subject to criminal background and credit evaluations.
• Ability to adhere to U.S. Bank policies, the Code of Ethics, workplace conduct, and safety regulations.
• Preferred: experience in mortgage loan origination, external sales, or related banking/sales roles with proven production results.
