Mortgage Broker Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete residential loan process from initial handover to final settlement.

• Gather, assess, and upload necessary client documentation.

• Prepare and submit loan applications using Apply Online (AOL).

• Monitor the progress of applications and follow up on outstanding conditions.

• Engage with clients, lenders, and stakeholders to address and resolve issues.

• Maintain accurate records in Mercury and Connective systems.

• Assist in SMSF loan processing and documentation once residential workflows are established.

• Help reactivate existing SMSF clients.

• File and attach client information and Biz-Consulting data in Nexus via email.

• Conduct refinance outreach campaigns.

• Re-establish relationships with inactive referral partners.

• Execute various administrative tasks to alleviate the workload of the Hiring Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience with Connective (aggregator platform).

• Practical experience with Nexus Mercury (loan processing / CRM system).

• Practical experience with Apply Online (AOL).

• Comprehensive understanding of the Australian residential mortgage process from start to finish.

• Capability to identify discrepancies or missing information in checklists.

• Experience in SMSF loan assessment and processing is a significant advantage.

• Previous experience working directly with a mortgage broker is a considerable plus.

• Familiarity with self-employed structures, individuals, and complex arrangements is a strong advantage.

• Proactive, coachable, self-sufficient, reliable, and detail-oriented work approach.

• Excellent written communication skills in English.

• Ability to work efficiently, manage multiple deals at various stages, and adapt to changing circumstances.

• Willingness to seek assistance when necessary and promptly escalate any obstacles.
