Model Based Systems Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Utilize specialized knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies and frameworks, along with proficiency in MBSE tools.

• Create and oversee requirements and verification methodologies within system models.

• Employ system models to pinpoint subassemblies, interfaces, functions, environments, and software/firmware requirements.

• Assist in the development of Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) artifacts and templates for MBSE meta-chain reports.

• Facilitate data management (DM) and configuration management (CM) for MBSE artifacts.

• Provide direct support to the upcoming Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division, Model Based Engineering Assessment Division (Code MXM), focusing on mission engineering analysis and evaluation of intricate Naval, Department of Defense (DoD), and joint kill chains with an emphasis on EMSO-enabled analysis.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess an active DoD SECRET clearance (minimum); U.S. citizenship is mandatory.

• Hold a Bachelor's degree from an ABET-accredited institution.

• Demonstrate expert knowledge of MBSE methodologies and frameworks, including advanced proficiency with MBSE tools.

• Exhibit proficiency in UML (Universal Modeling Language).

• Have experience with MBSE tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler, Rational Rhapsody, DOORS, and Teamwork Cloud (preferred).
