Model Based Software Engineer – Integrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Incorporate low-level drivers into higher-level abstractions within modular Simulink components, adhering to software design requirements and feature diagrams.

• Combine various components into complete features and integrate them into products/applications.

• Develop new products and integrate previously established features.

• Identify and resolve bugs and defects.

• Create releases and verify functionality on hardware, including features, communication protocols, and product parameterization/configuration.

• Enhance and upgrade the project's custom C++ code generator.

• Analyze the generated C++ code and occasionally make direct modifications to C++.

⛳️ Requirements

• Excellent debugging and integration capabilities.

• Background in embedded software development using C/C++.

• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink.

• MATLAB scripting experience, preferably utilizing MATLAB OOP.

• Familiarity with modeling and code generation.

• Practical experience with microcontrollers.

• Proactive mindset in addressing complex integration challenges.

• Experience in code review processes.

• Strong knowledge of C++ for analyzing generated code and performing occasional direct modifications.

• Experience in extending and upgrading a custom C++ code generator is a plus.

• Nice to have: familiarity with AI tools in daily workflows.

• Nice to have: experience with Python scripting.
