Model-Based Development Engineer, Mid

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Develop Stateflow models using Simulink.

• Create logical models in Simulink for ECU functionalities.

• Conduct Model-in-the-Loop (MIL) testing and validation to ensure model behavior meets requirements.

• Understand technical software requirements.

• Utilize UML diagrams and flowcharts to translate requirements.

• Write code in C and C++.

• Compile libraries in C and C++.

• Develop and maintain scripting flows using Python and MATLAB to support modeling, testing, automation, and data analysis.

• Provide support for ConfigurationDesk and SDF procurement activities, including gathering technical requirements and coordinating with relevant teams.

• Assist in debugging and troubleshooting using Vector CANoe and CANalyzer.

• Participate in SCRUM meetings.

• Report progress using Jira.

• Create and maintain technical documentation.

• Collaborate with members from external regions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and professional license in Mechatronic Engineering or a related field.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position.

• Experience with MATLAB / Simulink.

• Experience with Stateflow.

• Knowledge and experience in Model-Based Development (MBD).

• Experience in Model-in-the-Loop (MIL) testing.

• Proficiency in C / C++ programming.

• Knowledge in Python programming and scripting.

• Understanding of ECUs and Embedded Systems.

• Experience working with SCRUM / Agile methodologies.

• Advanced English (essential).

• Knowledge or experience with Vector CANoe / CANalyzer.

• Familiarity with the CAN communication protocol.

• Knowledge of UML and flowcharts.

• Experience using Jira.

• Knowledge or experience with ConfigurationDesk / SDF.
