This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.
• Spearhead commercial leadership and growth across the APAC region by taking ownership of modality-specific revenue performance.
• Ensure operational excellence and commercial discipline through effective management of high-quality sales funnels.
• Direct strategic planning and modality business development in alignment with the global priorities of Genomic Medicine.
• Navigate complex opportunities and engage key accounts by facilitating multi-country commercial agreements.
• Foster cross-functional and regional collaboration by partnering with teams in Commercial, Marketing, FAS, Service, Product, Operations, and Supply Chain.
• Cultivate and lead high-performing teams by providing coaching and mentorship to associates at both regional and country levels.
• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field (advanced degree is preferred).
• Extensive commercial experience in Biopharma, Genomic Medicine, or Cell & Gene therapy.
• Demonstrated experience in managing regional or matrixed teams.
• Proven track record in leading complex multi-country initiatives.
• Experience in developing scalable commercial processes or business models.
• Strong commercial acumen complemented by deal leadership experience.
• Familiarity with the principles of the Danaher Business System (DBS) and their application.
• Willingness to travel across the APAC region, including overnight flights as required.
