This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of sales performance for new hardware or third-party solutions within designated verticals and assigned customers.
• Meet the bookings plan for all new mergers and acquisitions technology opportunities.
• Serve as a consultative and trusted advisor to Blue Yonder's software customer base regarding endpoint technology.
• Formulate and implement tailored customer account strategies and tactical penetration plans, collaborating with the Blue Yonder Vertical Software Sales Team.
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Create compelling value propositions rooted in ROI cost/benefit analysis.
• Follow the key steps of the sales process: identify new business opportunities, qualify them, and secure new business.
• Recognize and engage the appropriate internal resources throughout the sales cycles.
• Determine business plans and strategies, identify key decision-makers, performance indicators, and budget limitations.
• Keep an accurate, comprehensive, and updated sales forecast along with an ongoing order tracking document.
• Manage customer interactions throughout all sales cycle phases and act as a focal point for escalating customer service issues when necessary.
• Negotiate competitive pricing structures on behalf of Blue Yonder's customer base with hardware manufacturers.
• A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• Over 5 years of experience in Field or Inside Sales, specifically within the hardware or supply chain automation sectors.
• Familiarity with Honeywell/Zebra products is advantageous.
• Knowledge of voice, AMR, and various warehouse automation technologies is highly regarded.
• Friendly, approachable, and helpful demeanor, with the ability to engage in conversation effectively.
• Demonstrated success in building new customer relationships and driving them to closure.
• Experience in a team sales environment is essential.
• Proficiency in CRM/Contact Manager software is required; experience with Salesforce.com is a plus.
• Background in manufacturing or supply chain is a significant advantage.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate in a joint selling approach alongside enterprise software sales teams.
