Mobile Engineer – React Native

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Armenia.

📋 Description

• Design and manage Keet Mobile, a peer-to-peer messaging and calling application for both iOS and Android platforms.

• Create and enhance features related to chat, voice and video calls, media sharing, device synchronization, and identity backup.

• Implement native platform functionalities such as push notifications, camera access, biometrics, and background tasks on iOS and Android.

• Analyze and improve performance on actual devices, focusing on aspects like startup speed, lengthy chats, media handling, as well as battery and network consumption.

• Develop unit tests and end-to-end tests.

• Assist in maintaining stable releases through Continuous Integration (CI) and crash reporting.

• Work collaboratively with core P2P, design, and product teams.

• Conduct code reviews with a strong emphasis on quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with React Native, Redux for state management, and Redux-Saga.

• Highly skilled in JavaScript and ES6+ standards.

• Proficient in working with WebSockets and RESTful APIs.

• Experience collaborating with remote teams.

• Enthusiasm for modernizing and optimizing mobile or web applications.

• Knowledge of native programming languages (Swift/Kotlin) and familiarity with native development tools (Xcode/Android Studio) is a plus.

• Experience with peer-to-peer frameworks is advantageous.

• Strong English communication skills.
