Mobile Engineer, Android, iOS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Maintain, evolve, and acquire progressive knowledge of an existing mobile application in production.

• Work on Android and iOS code previously developed by other teams.

• Understand the codebase, gain autonomy, and gradually take ownership of the Mobile segment.

• Identify technical debt and propose architectural improvements and best practices.

• Make technical decisions and progress towards becoming a reference point and technical leader within the project.

• Potentially participate in the evolution of the application towards a hybrid/cross-platform solution in 2027.

• Engage in a possible migration to React Native.

• Collaborate with the client, the development team, and project managers.

• Participate in daily meetings, onboarding processes, and knowledge transfer sessions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Senior experience (+5 years) in Mobile application development.

• Solid and demonstrable experience in native Android development.

• Solid and demonstrable experience in native iOS development.

• Experience working on existing production applications and evolving code developed by other teams.

• Ability to understand existing architectures, identify technical debt, and propose improvements.

• Familiarity with AI development, ideally with Claude.

• Capacity to progressively take ownership of the Mobile segment and make technical decisions.

• Ability and motivation to evolve into a reference point and technical leadership role.

• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with clients and the team.

• Experience or solid knowledge in React Native — nice to have.

• Experience with other hybrid or cross-platform technologies — nice to have.

• Participation in migrations from native applications to hybrid/cross-platform solutions — nice to have.

• Experience making decisions regarding Mobile architecture — nice to have.

• Prior experience as a Tech Lead or technical reference in Mobile — nice to have.
