This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.

📋 Description

• Capture brief, one-sided phone conversations in Japanese to assist in developing more authentic voice AI.

• Conduct individual calls on a secure platform, pausing at moments where the agent would typically respond.

• Communicate naturally while simulating calls to a bank, telecommunications company, or retailer.

• Provide basic metadata following each call.

• Complete 4–10 sessions approved through quality assurance for compensation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a native Japanese speaker.

• Age 18 or older.

• Ability to read and adhere to brief instructions in Japanese.

• Must possess an iPhone 17, 17 Air, 17 Pro, or 17 Pro Max.

• Have a quiet indoor environment suitable for recording.

• Capable of completing 4–10 calls, each lasting between 1 to 2 minutes (maximum of 5 minutes).

• Able to space out calls: no more than 3 per day, with at least 3 hours in between, at varied times across several days.

• Comfortable with improvising a natural, unscripted call that adheres to a 6-step flow.

• Will use only fictitious names and account or order numbers.

• Must be willing to be recorded, provide recorded consent, sign a non-disclosure agreement, and comply with project guidelines.
