This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• **SUMMARY**
• Collaborate closely with computer analysts and engineers to utilize various software development language skills for the creation, testing, and development of applications on mobile devices.
• **ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
• - Develop and enhance secure mobile applications to meet changing business requirements.
• - Create, migrate, and update mobile application code using C#, operating within the MS .NET MAUI framework.
• - Maintain communication with customers, team members, and supervisors regarding the development and direction of applications.
• - Conduct routine site audits and provide ongoing maintenance as needed.
• - Ensure appropriate baseline identification of configuration items, perform periodic audits, and verify version release configuration items.
• - Adhere to CM process standards, plans, and procedures.
• - Engage in Engineering Review Board (ERB)/Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings.
• - Attend Configuration Control Board meetings with management and other functional groups to gather information and obtain authorizations for the release of configuration items and baseline changes as necessary.
• - Accurately evaluate change requests within the configuration management tool and manage information throughout the CM lifecycle.
• - Develop, manage, and maintain project-specific Configuration Management Plans.
• - Manage content and update configuration item lists.
• - Generate and maintain reports while adhering to deadlines.
• - Assist in the preparation and CM status reporting for technical engineering events.
• - Participate in application testing as required.
• - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and drive process excellence.
• - Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• - Perform additional duties as assigned.
• **SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES**
• None.
• **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**
• - A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.
• - Proficiency in Android and iOS programming.
• - Experience with Responsive Web Design using JavaScript-based frameworks.
• - Familiarity with mobile technologies, ideally including at least one of Xamarin, .NET MAUI, or Flutter.
• - Experience using various Integrated Development Environment (IDE) products, including setting up application architecture for reuse.
• - Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Security clearance (generally requires U.S. Citizenship).
• - Must acquire and uphold any necessary security access and/or background checks.
• **DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS**
• - Understanding of wireless networks.
• - Proficient in the use of computers and mobile devices operating under various systems, including Windows and Mac.
• - Working knowledge of smartphone and tablet platforms, with required cross-platform experience in both Android and iOS applications.
• - Ability to consider UI and UX principles when developing applications.
• - Experience collaborating with distributed teams in an Agile environment.
• - Experience integrating applications with external REST APIs and web services.
• - Strong understanding of multiple SDLC methodologies, with a focus on Agile.
• - Proven ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical partners.
• - Experience providing constructive feedback on estimation activities and process improvements.
• - Demonstrated ability to analyze complex technical issues and guide the team in timely resolutions.
• - Extensive experience in custom mobile software development, contributing technical expertise beyond core job responsibilities.
• - Familiarity with communication technologies commonly used by mobile applications, particularly HTTP(S), JSON, Bluetooth LE, and NFC.
• - Experience with various technologies including Java, Objective-C/Swift, Object-Oriented design, and using application/web servers such as MVC frameworks, HTML5, CSS, JSON, XAML, C#, JavaScript, JQuery, Apache Tomcat, etc.
• - Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• - Proven ability to perform diverse responsibilities under time constraints.
• - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; monitors own work to ensure quality.
• - Ability to work independently and proactively with minimal supervision, while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.
• - Must be capable of prioritizing and managing workloads and tasks for Operation Team members.
• - Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
• **Compensation & Benefits:**
• - **Pay:** $59 to $64 per hour.
