ML Engineer Specialist – Freelance AI Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Address applied machine learning challenges by progressing from baseline models to enhanced workflows.

• Assess scientific writing, including research abstracts and introductions, using evaluation criteria such as NeurIPS guidelines.

• Troubleshoot complex model behaviors related to optimization, fairness, regularization, transformers, and applied NLP, while documenting failure modes.

• Create benchmark tasks by selecting datasets, reviewing leading academic papers, developing evaluation scripts, and offering reference implementations.

• Enhance training datasets through structured feedback, ensuring AI outputs are more precise, dependable, and beneficial.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid foundation in machine learning, NLP, or data science.

• Familiarity with supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, reinforcement learning, probabilistic modeling, and applied NLP.

• Expertise in Python, machine learning frameworks, and cloud-based workflows.

• Effective communication skills with the ability to articulate reasoning and demonstrate your work.

• Contractor must provide a secure computer and reliable high-speed internet connection.

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or Data Science is preferred.

• Experience with peer-reviewed research or production-level ML systems is a significant advantage.
