AI/ML Engineer – MCP Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Oversee, sustain, and enhance agentic infrastructure operating on LangChain, LangSmith, and LangGraph.

• Administer container-based deployments and ensure stability throughout various environments.

• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for agent and model launches.

• Establish and maintain observability features, including tracing, alerting, and performance dashboards for LLM-based systems.

• Assist with MCP server integration as the client-side team releases new components.

• Detect and address latency, cost, and reliability challenges prior to production incidents.

• Collaborate closely with the client's MCP technical lead and integrate into the existing technical framework.

• Sustain production infrastructure for a Model Context Protocol system utilized by a mid-market US software firm.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong foundational knowledge of DevOps practices; responsible for deployment ownership.

• Experience with container orchestration: Docker + ECS/Fargate or an equivalent platform.

• Proficient in using GitHub Actions for CI/CD processes.

• Familiarity with AWS services: ECS, RDS, S3, CloudWatch.

• Understanding of the MCP protocol.

• Practical experience in production environments with LangChain, LangSmith, and/or LangGraph.

• Knowledge of LLM infrastructure, including token costs, latency trade-offs, rate limits, and production monitoring.

• Ability to work independently within a small team.

• Near-native English proficiency for daily asynchronous communication with a US-based technical lead and client stakeholders.

• Experience with LangSmith tracing and evaluation features is a plus.

• Previous collaboration with a client-side senior engineer is a plus.

• Familiarity with observability tools like Datadog, Grafana, or similar is advantageous.
