ML Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, test, and deploy AI agents and agentic workflows ready for production that are integrated with enterprise applications and business processes.

• Establish evaluation, monitoring, guardrail, and safety frameworks for applications powered by LLM.

• Create and sustain AI-driven features within the Java/Spring framework and a distributed microservices architecture.

• Work alongside AI Scientists and ML Engineers to transition models from experimentation to dependable software.

• Keep abreast of new AI technologies and propose practical strategies for their adoption.

• Gather and integrate feedback from specialists, technical operations, and product managers.

• Engage in design reviews, technical discussions, and requirements planning.

• Participate in daily stand-up meetings, collaborate with colleagues, prioritize features, and ensure customer satisfaction.

• Develop prototypes and test potential solutions to significant challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 2–5 years of hands-on experience as a Machine Learning Engineer.

• Demonstrated success in designing, building, and optimizing ML models using either PyTorch or TensorFlow in production settings.

• Strong foundation in Computer Science principles, including data structures, algorithm design, complexity analysis, and performance optimization.

• High proficiency in object-oriented design and development using Python, Java, or C#.

• Practical experience in developing, testing, and supporting applied machine learning services within enterprise software environments.

• Experience in creating and maintaining software components for AI-enabled applications or distributed systems.

• Proven expertise in incorporating AI capabilities into existing enterprise applications.

• Familiarity with implementing and deploying production-grade LLM applications utilizing technologies such as LangChain, LangGraph, Spring AI, Model Context Protocol (MCP), or similar.

• Comprehensive understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), tool invocation, prompt engineering, and fundamental AI agent concepts.

• Experience with observability, CI/CD, automated testing, and operational procedures for AI applications.

• Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Databricks, vector search technologies, embedding models, conversational AI, evaluation methodologies for AI agents, AI developer tools, large-scale Java microservices using Spring Boot, AWS/Azure/GCP, Kubernetes, containerized deployments, model serving, inference optimization, caching strategies, and cost management.
