Mission Systems Operator – Contingent Upon Contract Award

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Carry out remote sensing wide area data collection missions.

• Gather and evaluate information while ensuring safety and effectiveness as an aircrew member on a multi-position aircraft.

• Operate and maintain air surveillance and reconnaissance equipment.

• Facilitate real-time communication and distribution of multi-source information with aircrew and ground assets throughout all flight phases.

• Utilize tactical data links, chat systems, BLoS SATCOM, ground-based communications systems, and SSDL radios.

• Engage in mission planning, execution, briefing, debriefing, communications, and safety-related activities.

• Implement appropriate tactical data collection procedures to guarantee accuracy and quality.

• Comprehend and convey sensor and system capabilities and limitations.

• Troubleshoot issues related to hardware, software, and collection equipment.

• Complete field logs and responsibilities associated with data transfer.

• Ensure the safe and secure operation of company and government equipment and instruments.

• Adhere to governing regulations and established standard operating procedures.

• Carry out other assigned or necessary duties.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with four (4)+ years of relevant experience; additional years of experience may substitute for a degree.

• Current FAA Class III Medical Certificate.

• Must be a US Citizen.

• Minimum age of 21.

• Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.

• Valid passport and state driver’s license required.

• Active DoD Secret clearance or higher.

• Ability to meet all contractual/program training requirements successfully.

• Knowledge of ISR collection tactics, techniques, procedures, and the targeting cycle.

• Capable of passing a background check successfully.

• Must pass pre-employment and active-employment drug screenings successfully.

• Experience in operating and maintaining air surveillance and reconnaissance equipment, including COMMINT, ELINT, SAR/GMTI, and SIGINT collection systems.

• Familiarity with at least one mission software suite, such as Orion, Claw, Weaver, Harbinger, Prospector, or AIMS-HD.

• Preferred: Active DoD Top Secret clearance or higher.

• Preferred: Previous experience as a U.S. Military SOF.

• Preferred: Experience with MX-15 and/or SAFIRE HD camera systems.

• Preferred: Recent operational ISR experience.

• Preferred: Airborne ISR MSO experience within the last five (5) years.

• Training and deployment rotation work is compensated; other times are typically leave without pay (LWOP), unless approved by Management.

• Relocation is not a requirement.

• Training is conducted in Titusville, Florida.
