Mission Support Specialist – Munitions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide munitions subject matter expertise to assist the Solution Leader in training and enabling the Virtualitics Readiness AI platform.

• Act as an embedded representative of Virtualitics at various customer locations.

• Support the Solution Leader in managing daily relationships with end-users.

• Serve as the main point of contact for training and enablement initiatives.

• Equip customers with the technical operational knowledge necessary to utilize Virtualitics AI products effectively.

• Advocate for customer needs internally and communicate challenges to engineering and product teams.

• Conduct hands-on training and enablement to facilitate customer mission integration.

• Collaborate on-site with the Virtualitics Solution Leader for technical operations.

• Gather, analyze, and present customer feedback and ground truth data.

• Organize customer on-site visits, overseeing office space, equipment readiness, logistics, scheduling, and resource coordination.

• Assist in customer classified engagements.

• Promote the adoption of Virtualitics Readiness AI solutions through relationship-focused engagement.

• Maintain and uphold the brand, image, and values of Virtualitics through professional behavior and consistent service delivery.

• Support tracking of personnel compliance, including clearance status, NDA completion, CAC management, and training obligations.

• Be prepared to travel up to 50% to assigned customer locations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in or directly supporting munitions operations within the Department of War.

• Proven technical proficiency with data platforms and analytics tools.

• Ability to convert technical capabilities into operational results.

• Experience working independently in high-pressure environments with minimal supervision.

• Possess the judgment and initiative characteristic of an experienced SNCO or O-3/O-4 officer with munitions expertise.

• Strong problem-solving abilities with a history of achieving results under tight deadlines.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Willingness to travel and work on-site at customer locations, both CONUS and OCONUS.

• Must have the ability to maintain a Secret security clearance.

• U.S. citizenship required for obtaining a security clearance.

• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship.

• Capability to obtain a security clearance.

• A bachelor's degree is preferred; however, relevant on-the-job experience in munitions storage may be considered in lieu of a degree.

• An active Secret clearance is preferred.

• Prior military experience as an SNCO (E-7 to E-9) or officer (O-3 to O-4) is highly valued.

• Expertise in Department of War munitions operational areas, such as stockpile management, storage, and warehousing.

• Background as a Field Service Representative, Forward Deployed Engineer, or embedded technical advisor in a defense technology firm.

• Familiarity with coordinating multidisciplinary teams in both classified and unclassified settings.

• Experience in risk identification and enhancing cross-team collaboration in fast-paced operational environments.

• Comfort with operational readiness processes, security compliance, access management, and personnel tracking.

• Previous experience on a Service’s major command staff, such as MAJCOM or equivalent, supporting munitions OT&E functions.
