This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Deliver exceptional service as a Support Engineer.
• Engage with clients to collect issue reports and troubleshoot during afternoon/evening hours, specifically from 14–22 CET/CEST.
• Examine error-tracking tools, infrastructure, and third-party connections, debugging them as necessary.
• Prioritize requests and bugs while addressing ongoing client inquiries.
• Write clear and maintainable JavaScript code.
• Technically contribute to the product by identifying enhancements and resolving issues.
• Design and modify fundamental database structures.
• Document the code and solutions provided.
• Convert business complexities, user stories, and tasks into solutions, results, and estimates collaboratively with the team.
• Stay updated on industry trends and news, share knowledge, and mentor others.
• Enhance and repurpose the company knowledge base.
• Collaborate with the US-based client Payments.ai.
• Availability between 14–22 CET/CEST.
• Over 2 years of commercial experience in Node.js.
• Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Extensive knowledge of JavaScript frameworks, with a preference for Express.js.
• Solid understanding of JavaScript, including at least ES 2018, OOP principles, clean coding practices, and best practices.
• Experience with at least one Node.js backend framework, such as Express.js or Koa.js.
• Familiarity with relational SQL databases and ORM or query builder tools like Sequelize or Knex.
• Potential experience with NoSQL or in-memory databases such as MongoDB or Redis.
• Understanding of SOLID and KISS principles.
• Knowledge of design and architectural patterns.
• Familiarity with Docker and GitHub Actions.
• Regular use of AWS S3 services and experience debugging AWS services such as Cognito, CloudWatch, SQS, SES, and Lambda.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in English at C1 level.
• Proficient in Polish at C1 level.
• Ability to prioritize quality outcomes while managing tight project timelines.
