This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.
• Build and maintain relationships with families, students, and learning coaches.
• Deliver course content for Computer Literacy and Career Explorations in an online setting.
• Provide instruction, support, and guidance while managing the learning process, focusing on individual student needs.
• Monitor student progress via Stride K12’s learning management system.
• Collaborate closely with students and parents/learning coaches to help each student reach their learning goals.
• Prepare students for significant standardized assessments.
• Establish and nurture positive relationships with families, ensuring regular communication and timely responses to students and learning coaches/parents.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Valid state teaching license.
• Ability to pass the required background check.
• Capability to collaborate effectively with fellow educators.
• Open to receiving regular coaching from administrators and teacher trainers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Quick to learn and adapt to new technologies and teaching platforms.
• Ability to uphold teacher certification/professional development hours and maintain fluency in K12 systems, programs, and curriculum.
• Opportunity to work independently, generally requiring 40+ hours per week.
• Capability to maintain a distraction-free professional home office during work hours, from 8 AM to 5 PM.
