Middle School English Teacher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Facilitate designated course material in a virtual setting

• Offer instruction, assistance, and direction

• Oversee the educational process while prioritizing students’ individual requirements

• Track student advancement utilizing Stride K12’s learning management system

• Collaborate closely with students and their parents/learning coaches

• Occasionally travel to various school events

• Deliver engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning opportunities

• Tailor instruction according to students’ levels of mastery

• Maintain an accurate grade book to uphold student academic integrity

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree

• Valid state teaching license

• Capability to pass necessary background checks

• Experience with the specified age group

• Familiarity with supporting both adults and children in technology usage

• Background in teaching within an online (virtual) setting and/or traditional classroom environment

• Proficient in using online learning platforms

• Ability to collaborate effectively with fellow educators

• Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
