Middle Office Analyst – Trading Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Utilizing a blend of analytical tools and skills, you will oversee our accounts and portfolios while aiding in daily reconciliations.

• You will support the trading team with asset management across various exchanges and monitor fund transfers as needed.

• You will collaborate either independently, with other teams, or with external stakeholders to address any identified discrepancies and swiftly troubleshoot systemic issues.

• You will handle interactions with creditors, verifying terms, facilitating the drawdown and payment of loan principal and interest, as well as auditing invoices and addresses.

• You will generate both scheduled and unscheduled reports, analyses, and historical records as mandated or to support other teams.

• You will contribute to quality assurance practices and assist in transforming manual processes into efficient, automated systems.

• Discrepancy Analysis: Perform comprehensive break analysis and rectify discrepancies in trading data.

• Ad Hoc Tasks: Support various ad hoc projects and tasks as needed by the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree from a reputable institution in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

• 3-5 years of middle office experience, preferably in a multinational environment, ideally within digital currencies, trading, or other financial services organizations.

• Capability to raise concerns with peers and management, as well as communicate with clients and business partners to negotiate terms when necessary.

• As this role is remote, you will showcase an exceptional ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and demonstrate self-reliance and motivation.

• Strong initiative, a sense of urgency, and personal resilience to navigate the challenges of fast-paced teams.

• Proficiency in Excel and financial software systems.

• Outstanding communication skills for engaging with internal teams and external partners.

• Familiarity with blockchain technology, digital assets, and the regulatory landscape of cryptocurrencies is highly desirable.
