Middle Full Stack Engineer – .NET, React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Design and uphold functionalities within the current ASP.NET Web Forms/MVC framework utilizing C#, .NET, and SQL Server.

• Enhance performance of queries and data retrieval.

• Facilitate and augment FIX protocol integrations.

• Diagnose production challenges in a high-stakes financial setting.

• Contribute to a new platform utilizing TypeScript, React/Next.js, REST APIs, .NET microservices, and AKS.

• Engage in architectural discussions and implement CQRS and event sourcing methodologies as suitable.

• Leverage AI-assisted development tools while ensuring code quality, testing, security, and maintainability.

• Elevate observability and documentation through logging, metrics, tracing, runbooks, and technical documentation.

• Collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of professional software development experience.

• Strong expertise in C# and .NET.

• Practical experience with ASP.NET Web Forms and/or MVC, including legacy systems.

• Proficient in TypeScript and React.

• Comprehensive understanding of SQL Server, encompassing query creation, optimization, indexing, and data access methodologies.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude.

• A growth mindset and eagerness to work with both existing systems and new solutions.

• Capacity to produce clean, maintainable, testable, and thoroughly documented code.

• Security-aware approach to software development.

• Upper-Intermediate proficiency in English.

• Familiarity with the FIX protocol, especially in relation to trading system integrations, order routing, or institutional messaging.

• Understanding of event sourcing and CQRS methodologies.

• Knowledge of Kubernetes or AKS along with containerized workloads.
