Mid System Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Collect and assess business requirements in partnership with Product Owners and E-commerce stakeholders.

• Convert business needs into both functional and non-functional requirements.

• Develop epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

• Illustrate business processes utilizing BPMN.

• Aid in dividing project scope into manageable deliverable increments.

• Create solution models using UML, including sequence, activity, component, and use case diagrams.

• Detail integrations such as REST APIs, data flows between microservices, and external systems.

• Work with API contracts utilizing JSON and Swagger/OpenAPI.

• Ensure uniformity of solutions across web, iOS, and Android platforms.

• Facilitate analysis when changes impact multiple teams or E-commerce areas.

• Conduct workshops and refinement sessions with Development, QA, and UX teams.

• Assist development teams and respond to analytical inquiries during implementation.

• Maintain clear and current analytical documentation.

• Collaborate with Product Owners, development teams, QA, UX, and architects.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a System Analyst or Business/System Analyst in IT projects.

• Experience with cross-platform projects involving web and mobile applications.

• Practical understanding of BPMN.

• Capability to prepare user stories and acceptance criteria.

• Practical knowledge of UML, particularly sequence, activity, component, and use case diagrams.

• Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON.

• Ability to read and articulate API contracts utilizing Swagger/OpenAPI.

• Strong knowledge of Jira and Confluence.

• Proficiency in Figma, including the ability to interpret and comment on designs and link them with requirements.

• Knowledge of AI tools and the ability to utilize them effectively and safely in analytical tasks, including document and code analysis, user story development, diagram creation, AI assistants, and MCP.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead workshops with business and IT stakeholders.

• Experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum or Kanban).

• Proficiency in English at a minimum B2 level, including documentation and communication with vendors.

• Proficiency in Polish at a minimum C1 level.

• Experience in E-commerce or retail, especially in areas like checkout, payments, orders, delivery, or marketplace.

• Analytical certifications such as IREB CPRE or IIBA ECBA/CCBA.

• Experience with Enterprise Architect, draw.io, or PlantUML.

• Understanding of asynchronous integrations, including queues, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.

• Familiarity with microservice architecture.

• Experience in detailing non-functional requirements, including performance, availability, and security.

• Knowledge of the C4 model for architecture documentation.

• Basic SQL skills for simple queries and data verification.
