Mid-Senior Java Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Capability to create new product features based on business and technical requirements

• Generate performance-optimized code that is thoroughly unit tested

• Provide support for SIT, UAT, and production environments

• Implement modern Agile methodologies

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong academic credentials, with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related discipline

• Demonstrated experience in the fintech/payments sector

• At least 5 years of proven experience in middleware application development utilizing the Java programming language (minimum of 1 year with Java 11)

• Proficient in Java 11+ Functional Programming and Object-Oriented Design (OOD)

• Basic knowledge of Event-Driven software design patterns

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish

• Strong technical writing abilities for product requirements, design documents, and product specifications

• Experience with version control and source management tools (e.g. Git)

• Analytical mindset with practical problem-solving skills

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

• Specific expertise in:

• Java 11+ microservices using Spring Boot and Spring Cloud (Netflix OSS)

• Spring 5 Framework, OAuth2 Security, JPA persistence, ORM modeling, and Restful API design

• In-depth understanding of the Git code versioning tool
