Mid .NET Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance functionalities within the current ASP.NET Web Forms/MVC framework utilizing C#, .NET, and SQL Server.

• Optimize queries and data retrieval processes in SQL Server.

• Provide support for and expand FIX protocol integrations.

• Resolve production issues within a high-stakes financial environment.

• Contribute to a new platform leveraging TypeScript, React/Next.js, REST APIs, .NET microservices, and AKS.

• Engage in architectural decision-making and implement CQRS and event sourcing patterns as necessary.

• Utilize AI-assisted development tools while upholding standards for code quality, testing, security, and maintainability.

• Enhance observability and documentation through logging, metrics, tracing, runbooks, and technical specifications.

• Collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in professional software development.

• Strong expertise in C# and .NET.

• Practical experience with ASP.NET Web Forms and/or MVC, including legacy codebases.

• Comprehensive knowledge of SQL Server, covering query writing, optimization, indexing, and data access methodologies.

• Proficient in TypeScript for both frontend and backend development.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude.

• A growth-oriented mindset and a willingness to work on both existing systems and new solutions.

• Capability to produce clean, maintainable, testable, and well-documented code.

• A security-focused approach to software development.

• Upper-Intermediate proficiency in English.

• Preferred: knowledge of FIX protocol, event sourcing, CQRS, Kubernetes or AKS, and containerized workloads.
