This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Navigate opportunities through the complete sales cycle, from generating a pipeline to closing deals and handling post-sales/up-selling. This is a fully hunter-focused role.
• Utilize a value and solution-driven sales approach that emphasizes customer engagement, authentication, and end-user communication use cases.
• Enhance the growth and adoption of our communication and network APIs within the Mid-Market segment across the AMER region.
• Manage cross-functional opportunities from Pre-Sales to collaborating with Customer Success.
• Establish a consistent pipeline generation rhythm to uncover expansion opportunities and secure new target accounts.
• Deliver engaging presentations of Vonage’s CPaaS product and vision to diverse audiences, from c-level executives to individual contributors, using Vonage’s value-based sales methodology.
• Provide prompt and accurate forecasts along with clear visibility into sales and revenue performance by actively managing your pipeline of opportunities for pre-committed revenue deals.
• Leverage and coordinate cross-functional internal teams to effectively navigate intricate sales cycles, including Sales Development, Pre-Sales, Legal, Engineering, Security, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success.
• Proven experience in Mid-Market technology sales, SaaS, Cloud, or API-based communications, with a demonstrated track record of successful outcomes.
• Established success in prospecting and identifying new customers through cold calling, lead generation, and networking efforts.
• Excellent relationship-building abilities with executives across business, marketing, and technology teams.
• Experience in effective collaboration with Pre-Sales Consultants.
• A proactive mindset, along with creativity, curiosity, and the capability to work both independently and collaboratively across the organization.
• A solution-focused sales strategy that covers the entire delivery lifecycle, emphasizing the consistent growth and maintenance of a strong new business pipeline that meets and surpasses targets.
• Background in mobile messaging/voice, cloud services, or mobile technology.
• Experience working closely with pre-sales teams to develop innovative CPaaS solutions, particularly for clients aiming to transition their communication infrastructure to the cloud and integrate APIs into their customer experience workflows.
