Mid-level SRE

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Create tools, alerts, and automated responses to proactively detect and address reliability risks.

• Design and uphold automation, alerting, and self-healing systems.

• Manage and support cloud infrastructure as well as production environments.

• Ensure environments are secure, stable, and current.

• Configure and oversee application servers in accordance with technical and security standards.

• Monitor system performance, investigate incidents, and troubleshoot infrastructure and application challenges.

• Collaborate with development teams to enhance and sustain CI/CD pipelines and processes.

• Develop scripts and processes to automate repetitive operational tasks.

• Contribute to initiatives that enhance system reliability, scalability, and performance.

• Create and maintain both technical and operational documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience in DevOps, SRE, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure roles.

• Familiarity with at least one major cloud platform, preferably Microsoft Azure or AWS.

• Solid understanding of Linux environments.

• Experience with Docker and containerized applications.

• Knowledge of Grafana, Kibana, or Elasticsearch.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

• Proficient in Git and source-control platforms such as GitHub or Bitbucket.

• Experience in scripting and infrastructure/operations automation.

• Familiarity with YAML and JSON configuration files.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

• Understanding of production support, incident management, and system reliability concepts.

• Capability to communicate and collaborate effectively in a remote setting.

• Proficiency in English sufficient for working within an international team.
