Mid-level SRE Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Assist in learning to manage and provision essential workloads such as Redis, Elasticsearch, queues, and databases within large-scale environments.

• Engage in the deployment and enhancement of automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), executing supervised updates on infrastructure initiatives.

• Collaborate on system observability using tools like Datadog to develop dashboards, set up alerts, and analyze logs, metrics, and tracing.

• Take part in troubleshooting, incident management, and root cause analysis.

• Acquire knowledge and apply engineering patterns, SLOs, SLIs, and SRE best practices to streamline, expedite, and secure the infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Linux environments.

• Familiarity with Git.

• Advanced experience with cloud platforms: GCP and AWS are mandatory; Azure is preferred.

• Experience with container orchestration, specifically Kubernetes.

• Intermediate knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.

• Capability to read and comprehend code to follow script and application logic.

• Understanding of observability, automation, monitoring, and software engineering principles.

• Analytical and proactive mindset to develop technical skills and assist junior engineers.

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
