Mid-Level Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Function independently as a versatile, T-shaped full-stack engineer.

• Examine technical architecture documentation for the project to ensure that the engineering team’s outputs align with expectations.

• Write code that meets the requirements set forth by the business, technical architects, and clients.

• Guarantee that the code you produce maintains a very high standard of quality and minimizes the likelihood of defects appearing in production environments.

• Create documentation for your code that is beneficial to your team members and other members of the Engineering department.

• Collaborate effectively with your colleagues to ensure commitments are met on schedule.

• Engage in code review as technical challenges arise to conduct root-cause analyses and implement effective solutions.

• Develop proofs of concept when necessary.

• Review code generated by team members to identify potential issues prior to deployment.

• Stay updated on engineering best practices, design principles, technology trends, security measures, and compliance standards to apply that knowledge in all the responsibilities mentioned above.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related engineering field.

• Over 2 years of experience as a Software Engineer, excluding internships.

• Experience working in Linux and/or MacOS environments.

• Experience developing a SaaS product/platform.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Authorization to work in Brazil and other Latin American countries.
