This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Gather, document, and verify both functional and non-functional requirements in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, which includes requirement specifications, flow diagrams, data models, and use cases.
• Engage actively in planning and review meetings to ensure a thorough understanding and validation of requirements throughout the development process.
• Design screen prototypes and specify system behavior.
• Convert client and business needs into concise, well-articulated user stories.
• Act as a liaison between business units and the technical team to guarantee accurate comprehension of requirements.
• Draft meeting minutes, acceptance documents, and user acceptance testing (UAT) plans for the client, ensuring their approval.
• Collaborate closely with the product owner, coordinators, and developers to refine user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Assist the QA team in determining test scenarios based on the collected requirements.
• Identify and address risks related to project scope, proposing solutions to business challenges.
• Clarify business rule inquiries for fellow members of the analysis team.
• Generate regular updates regarding system modifications and developments for stakeholders and clients.
• Partner with the UX/UI team to ensure that requirements enhance the user experience.
• Maintain traceability of requirements throughout the development lifecycle.
• Provide support for sprint testing when required.
• Help in crafting questionnaires and surveys to capture user needs.
• Familiarity with databases;
• Understanding of JSON format;
• Knowledge of web service/API communications;
• Proficiency in agile methodologies;
• Experience in requirements gathering;
• Background in writing acceptance criteria using BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) format;
• Willingness to travel;
• Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in Computer Science, Systems Analysis and Development, or a related field;
• Certification in Requirements Analysis or a similar area;
• Knowledge of APIs;
• Experience with Postman and SoapUI tools;
• Previous experience on licensing projects for fire departments, environmental agencies, or agricultural defense.
