This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist the team in developing projects within the renewable energy sector.
• Work closely with clients, CEC colleagues, and other professionals on matters related to project development.
• Comply with the Firm's policies, practices, and priorities.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by Firm management.
• 3-5 years of experience at a law firm, preferably in a practice that serves clients in the renewable energy and related sectors.
• Experience in negotiating various traditional renewable energy contracts (EPCs, O&Ms, PPAs, etc.).
• Excellent deal management, organizational, drafting, communication, negotiation, and analytical abilities.
• A team-oriented mindset with an emphasis on mentoring junior attorneys.
• Proficient in legal research and drafting.
• Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Ability to effectively collaborate and work in a remote environment.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills along with strong organizational and planning capabilities to manage multiple complex matters under tight deadlines and pressure.
• Admission to and in good standing with the Bar of the applicant’s state of residence.
• Commitment to the firm’s mission.
• 1,200 annual billable hour requirement, with an hourly bonus for exceeding this requirement.
• Base salary of $190,000 +. The base salary will be determined during the interview process and may vary based on several factors, including prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market conditions.
